Adult Ballet
Beginner Adult Ballet Class
This class is designed to further explore the Adult figure skater’s artistic side of their skating.
In class we focus on the following:
- Posture
- Arms, Hands, Positions
- Using the eyes, chin, and head for expression and presentation
- Flexibility
- Musicality
- Understanding body alignment
- Fluidity and Grace
- Stamina through holding positions and small jumps

Beginner Adult Ballet Classes (August – May)
Location: Chandler Ice Den – Ballet Room

Summer Adult Extreme Stretch Classes (June-July)
Location: Chandler Ice Den – Ballet Room

Pricing / Requirements:
Beginning Adult Ballet Tuition: Private Lesson Pricing.
Intermediate Adult Ballet Tuition: Private Lesson Pricing.
Dress: Hair is to be pulled back off face, no dangling jewelry, skating attire is fine for dress. Ballet shoes are required.
Note: Please meet outside of Ballet studio. Do not enter the room without a teacher. No street shoes are allowed inside the studio, No food or drink is allowed inside the Ballet studio.
Intermediate Adult Ballet Classes (August – May)
Location: Scottsdale Ice Den – Ballet Room
Day/Time: TO BE DETERMINED
This class is designed to further explore the Adult figure skater’s artistic side of their skating. This class is for the Adult Skater that already has a dance background and knowledge of ballet vocabulary.
In class we focus on the following:
- Posture
- Arms, Hands, proper positioning
- Combinations are all performed with one hand on the barre and at a slightly quicker pace
- Working on complexity within combinations
- Flexibility
- Musicality
- Understanding body alignment
- Fluidity and Grace
- Stamina through holding positions
- Petite allegro, turns, grand allegro work
- Posture
- Arms, Hands, proper positioning
- Combinations are all performed with one hand on the barre and at a slightly quicker pace
- Working on complexity within combinations
- Flexibility
- Musicality
- Understanding body alignment
- Fluidity and Grace
- Stamina through holding positions
