Pre-Ballet Ages 3 - 5
About the Class
This class is designed to introduce the youngest figure skater to the artistic side of their skating through the art of Dance. This class is geared towards a child between the ages of 3 and 5.
In class we focus on the following:
- Motor skills (ex: skipping, galloping, marching, walking on tip toes, etc.)
- Stretching, and flexibility
- Arm positions, and feet positions
- Upper body posture, and position – learning how to stand tall!
- Leaps and jumps
- Musicality- understanding fast/slow, loud/soft, finding the beat of the music, learning phrases of music
- Ballet terminology, memorization, attention to detail, and muscle awareness
- Expression through creativity, imagination and fun dancing games
- and much more…

Dress: Hair is to be pulled back off face for girls. No dangling jewelry, skating attire or ballet attire is fine for dress. Ballet shoes are required.
